People, Places and Projects


I launched my career in Promotions and Special Events at Mirabella Magazine in the early 90’s and continued my professional growth in Public Relations at Barneys New York under the Pressman Family’s watch and during its national expansion. Additionally, since then, I have been fortunate to represent and work with designers as diverse as Marina B, Troa Cho, Michael Dawkins, Krizia, MAG, Anna Molinari, Missoni, Via Spiga among others.

With a passion for luxury retail, I joined the Neiman Marcus Precious Jewels Division in 2004. During my tenure, I was corporately recognized and received the following awards: ‘You’re What We’re Famous For’; ‘NM Best’; and ‘Manager of the Year’. Upon leaving Neiman Marcus in 2010, I created SMMc Consulting and was extremely honored by my first client: Neiman Marcus Precious Jewels.

In 2013, I brought an idea to life and created the non-profit urban greenwalk, which held the first ever multi-block, multi-day, multi-organization video walk along Bleecker Street in the Historic West Village of Manhattan. The unprecedented event activated store front windows of brands such as FRESH, Jimmy Choo, Lulu Guinness, Marc Jacobs, Mulberry, NARS, Ralph Lauren and Robert Marc with custom content highlighting work of organizations such as GrowNYC, Hudson River Park Trust, Natural Areas Conservancy, Transportation Alternatives and Solar One.
